Sea View Lads Angling Club was established in 1978 by a group of Barry-based sea anglers and now boasts over 100 members, 250 on the Peterson scale!
We are renowned and respected across the sea angling fraternity for the angling expertise of our members, our environmental efforts (we have always had a catch and return policy) and our drinking prowess.
Sea View Lads Angling Club meet every fortnight at our ‘HQ’, the Services Social Club in Barry and hold weekly shore competitions along with some midweek evening events while boat anglers fish monthly matches.
Each year, members arrange a number of official and unofficial fishing trips visiting other areas. Venues vary from Grand Canaria through Norway, Alaska and Southern Ireland to Weymouth and the South West of England along with venues across West Wales.
