Awesome weather, flat seas and good company ensured that we had a great days fishing. We started by feathering for some bait and had a few pollack then proceeded to a deep mark where hounds, dogs and tope were landed. Best toipe was 23lb + caight by john john and heaviest weight was Lucky Lougher with 74lb, second was Stringfellow a pound behind. All caught and it was a good day all round-pics please!

Boat results May 8th 2010 |

Again on the Benjoma a good day was had by most of us. Some good hounds, dogs, Huss and spurs ensured that weights were high and the day was won by Stringfellow with another 80lb plus haul.

Only 2 members managed to make the trip which was a shame as the weather was great and the Rays were on the feed. In first place was Roy Bailey with 100lb 4ozs This included 8 Blonde Ray 1 thornback 1 spotted and bits. Kev was runner up with a mixed bag. Biggest fish was a16lb 8ozs blonde caught by Steve Dawes. Hopefully more members can make the next trip in November.

I have the results from the first trip of the year but not the second. Could anyone confirm who was on the trip and did Roy win with Ice cream and Jodie runners up? |
